Programs for inpatients
Ellis Medicine's Rehabilitation Services combines the expertise of our Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech - Language Pathology departments. We offer rehabilitation programs for inpatients, with specific goals and strategies as follows:
- Inpatient Rehabilitation - programs that aim to improve functional mobility in order to assist in a patient's discharge from the hospital. Areas of focus include gait, exercise, functional mobility training and education. Patients from various hospital units benefit from our inpatient services, including medical/surgical, orthopedic, neurological (we are a key component of the Stroke Center), emergency room, cardiac, oncology and pulmonary cases.
