Admission Information
Applications are accepted from qualified individuals who are interested in a nursing career and who meet the requirements outlined below. Equal opportunity is offered to all applicants, the Belanger School of Nursing prohibits discrimination of any member of a protected class, and any other characteristic protected by local, state, and federal laws. The Belanger School of Nursing is not authorized to sponsor F-1 or J-1 student visas. Applicants who require a student visa in order to study in the United States will not be eligible to enroll. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate immigration status to pursue studies in the program.
Applications will not be considered until prerequisites are completed unless a reasonable plan for completion is submitted with the application. All prerequisites must be completed prior to the Fall semester.
Admission Procedure
The application completion deadline for Fall entrance is January 31st with notification of acceptance status in February. Applications completed prior to the January 31st deadline are eligible for review and early decision at the discretion of the Admissions and Evaluations Committee. Applications completed after January 31st will be reviewed only if openings remain. The Admissions and Evaluations Committee will only review those applications with all required components on file. Applications are reviewed by members of the Admissions and Evaluations Committee. Each application is considered on an individual basis and all criteria is considered.
