2024 Family Medicine Residency Commencement

It's official—the residents of the 2024 Family Medicine Residency Program have graduated! Last week, the Family Medicine Residency program celebrated this significant milestone with family, friends, faculty, and guests from all parts of the world. Graduates gathered and accepted their graduation certificates as a rite of passage, marking the transition from one generation of physicians to the next.

Dr. John Petrillo, DO, Program Director, expressed his deep appreciation for this class. “The Ellis Medicine Family Medicine Residency program (and the family that makes up Ellis Medicine) is proud to graduate another 10 members of the 2024 Class! These physicians have not only trained and learned within our institution but have provided vital access to an entire scope of practice for a high-risk group of patients. These physicians are not just integral to the delivery of care within the hospital but are so critically important to care within our community. We are incredibly proud of the physicians they have become, and we know that they will be an asset to the patients and communities they will serve in the future. Only our very best wishes to them always.”

The Family Medicine Residency program continues to serve the hospital and patients of Ellis Medicine profoundly. Ellis Medicine's administration, medical community, and ancillary staff commit their full support to ensuring the continuing success of residents and interns.
