Program Outcomes
Program outcomes are the standards by which the
effectiveness of the program is measured.
These outcomes are:
- The graduates of Ellis School of Nursing will achieve a
passing rate on NCLEX-RN equal or greater than the national
average on their first attempt.
- The completion/graduation rate will be at or above the
national average based on the number of students in a class who
graduate within 150% of the program time.
- Ninety percent of graduates actively seeking employment will
secure a nursing position within six months of graduation.
- Graduates will report 100% satisfaction with the educational
program at ESON one year and five years after graduation.
- Graduates will report a satisfactory level of competence as
reflected in the systematic evaluation graduate survey at one
and five years after graduation.
- Employers will report 100% satisfaction with our graduates
at one and five years after graduation.
- Employers will report satisfaction with competence of
graduates as reflected in the systematic evaluation employer
survey at one and five years after graduation.
- Eighty-five percent of graduates will participate in
continuing education in nursing five years after graduation.
