Family Affair
Ellis School of Nursing (ESON) Graduate Esther Reidel carries on a
family tradition of health care service at Ellis. She graduated with the
Class of 2009 and chose to begin her nursing career at Ellis Hospital.
Her mother, Lorraine, also an ESON graduate, is the assistant ICU nurse
manager, and her brother, Seth, is a Cardiovascular Technologist in
Ellis Catheterization Lab.
"I have always thought of Ellis as a good place to work because the
people who work here care - they care about their patients, taking good
care of them, learning new things and about each other," explains
Lorraine. "I am very pleased that my kids have chosen to work here and
in professions that have so much potential for doing good and for
advancement."
