Public Notice to Ellis Medicine Suppliers
To: Ellis Medicine Partners (Suppliers, Contractors, Vendors, Agents and to their Respective Employees)
Re: Compliance with Fraud and Abuse Laws
The Federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and Section 4 of Chapter 442 of the 2006 Laws of New York (collectively the “Fraud Laws”) require Ellis Medicine to establish and to maintain provider compliance programs that prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse. It is imperative that Ellis Medicine employees and business partners know and understand the Fraud Laws, specifically, without limitation, provisions dealing with false claims, whistleblower protections and Ellis Medicine policies for detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse. Copies of the law and polices can be viewed below in the Public Notices section.
Employees and business partners are required to report any compliance concerns. Reports can be made by the following methods:
