Michael Saccocio

Ellis Medicine Since 1994, Michael Saccocio has been Executive Director of the City Mission of Schenectady, a non-profit organization with 100 employees and a $5 million annual operating budget. Mr. Saccocio is responsible for developing a strategic plan and implementing it
within budget and policy guidelines. Duties also involve raising nearly $4 million annually in private donations, as
well as providing leadership for the various departments.

Mr. Saccocio built collaborative partnerships with Ellis Medicine to enhance health care offerings for the poor and with
Proctors and economic development leaders in Schenectady to create the Downtown Ambassadors program. In
February 2013 the Downtown Ambassadors program and the Schenectady Bridges initiative were featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.

Mr. Saccocio also served as Deputy Mayor for the City of Schenectady from 1992 to 1994.
