Ellis
Medicine Pro-Am Golf Tournament
hosted by Neil & Jane Golub
Monday - June 20, 2011 - Mohawk Golf Club, Schenectady, NY
The Ellis Pro-Am Golf Tournament offers professional play for every
foursome. As an event attendee, you and your foursome are invited to
participate in a Players Clinic with NENY PGA Professionals at the
driving range, practice putting green, and at the bunker behind the
18th green before play begins.
Your foursome will also be matched for 18 holes of golf with a PGA
professional. The Pro-Am Golf Tournament carries on the Ellis
tradition of great golf for a great cause. Funds raised will
continue to support the hospital's lifesaving programs and services.
2010 Pro-Am Golf Tournament raises more than $100,000
The 2010 Ellis Medicine Pro-Am Golf Tournament, hosted by Neil and
Jane Golub and held at the Mohawk Golf Club, raised $115,000 to
support the hospital's programs and services.
Each foursome played 18 holes with a professional golfer from the
NENY PGA in a scramble format. 136 golfers and 34 pros participated
in the event. This is the second year for the Pro-Am. The event
replaces the former Ellis Hospital Skins Game, which raised more
than 2 million dollars over a 16-year period to support the Wright
Heart Center and other hospital services.
The Pro-Am Golf Tournament carries on the tradition of great golf
for a great cause as money raised will continue to support the
hospital's programs. For more information about playing in or
