Values the Care at Ellis

"You feel it from the moment you walk into the hospital," Emy adds. "Whether you need directions or a medical consult or treatment, the Ellis staff cares about people first and foremost."

Emy's appreciation for her community hospital has prompted her to leave a bequest to The Foundation for Ellis Medicine in her will, making her a member of the Foundation's 1885 Society. In addition, she volunteers her time and leadership as a member of The Foundation for Ellis Medicine's Board of Trustees.

"I've found that Ellis is a place where people are caring, innovative, talented and who embrace community members," Emy says. "Their mission is embedded throughout the entire organization."
