Cardiac Classic

The Foundation for Ellis Medicine's Cardiac Classic takes place on Thanksgiving Day morning, Thursday, November 25, 2010.

The 5K Road Race, Wellness Walk, and Fun Run draw more than 1,200 runners and walkers to Schenectady's Central Park each year. Join the tradition and the fun, while supporting Ellis Medicine's Wright Heart Center.

Event Schedule

• 2M Wellness Walk - 8 a.m.
• 5K Road Race (runners only) - 9 a.m. [Course Map]
• Awards - 9:45 a.m.
• 1M Duck Pond Fun Run - 10 a.m.

5K Awards

Trophies are given for the overall male and female winners. Medals are given to the top three males and top three females in all age categories:

• 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over

2009 Race Results

The 2009 Cardiac Classic was a resounding success with 1,213 participants. The day’s events raised more than $27,000 for the Wright Heart Center. Special thanks to the many generous sponsors and participants!
