Our Health Our Future: The Campaign for Ellis Medicine
Through charitable giving, Ellis is investing to better serve the community and reinvent healthcare - one patient at a time.
Person by person, gift by gift, our community is coming together in humbling numbers to support The Foundation for Ellis Medicine’s Our Health Our Future Campaign.
More than $23 million has already been donated to support The Campaign. These gifts have helped build the Medical Center of Clifton Park, expand Bellevue Woman’s Center and renew the Ellis Residential & Rehabilitation Center on McClellan Street.
The Campaign is now funding the new $61 million Neil and Jane Golub Center for
Emergency Care. Construction is in full gear, with phase one of the new Emergency Department facility to be complete July 2014. The entire project, including renovating the current ER and building a new parking garage, will be complete in 2015.
Charitable donations are playing a pivotal role in Ellis' ability to make these projects a reality and build a stronger Ellis Medicine. The Our Health Our Future Campaign will help us complete the sweeping healthcare restructuring in our community set in motion by New York State reforms. It will also ensure that the high quality care that is synonymous with Ellis Medicine is available, close to home, for generations to come.
Since the public launch of the Campaign last October, the community has generously responded with more than $1.3 million in gifts – Thank You!
