Mr.
Rinaldi joins Ellis with more than 35 years of
experience as a health care financial leader. Most
recently, Mr. Rinaldi was CFO at Benedictine Health
System/Health Alliance System downstate, where he
planned and implemented the consolidation of financial
services when a number of hospitals aligned. Previously,
he served in the following roles: senior vice president
and chief financial officer for Catholic Medical Center
of Brooklyn & Queens, Inc., Jamaica, NY; associate
administrator for Misericordia Hospital Medical Center,
Bronx, NY; and director, Bureau of Health Care
Reimbursement & Hospital Services, New York State
Department of Health, Albany, NY.
Mr. Rinaldi earned a graduate program certificate in health
systems administration from Union College, Schenectady, NY, a
master's degree in health administration from Russell Sage College,
Troy, NY, and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Russell Sage
College, Troy, NY. His professional affiliations include the
following: Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives;
Fellow, Healthcare Financial Management Association; member,
American College of Hospital Executives; member, National Accounting
Association; member, Board of Directors, Greater New York Hospital
Association; past chairman, Finance Committee, Hospital Association
of New York State; and advisor, Legislative Council on Healthcare
Financial Matters. Mr. Rinaldi also served as an adjunct professor
at St. John's University, Queens, NY, and Iona College, New
Rochelle, NY.
