Patti Hammond
Vice President of Operations
Patti
Hammond has over 20 years of senior health care
management experience and an extensive knowledge of
hospital operations.
Prior to coming Ellis Patti served as Chief Operating
Officer/Executive Vice President at Bellevue Woman's Hospital. Among
the hospitals accomplishments under her leadership were the
initiation of weekly, mobile MRI services and the acquisition and
implementation of a second digital mammography machine.
Previously, Patti held the following leadership positions which
reflect a deep and broad set of experiences: executive vice
president of Iroquois Healthcare Alliance in Clifton Park; senior
consultant at Quorum Health Resources, L.L.C. of Brentwood, TN;
executive vice president of FoxCare Network in Oneonta, NY; and vice
president of Patient Care Services at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital,
also in Oneonta.
Patti's responsibilities as Ellis Medicine's Vice President of
Operations include directing, coordinating and overseeing
operational efforts in the following areas: critical care, surgical
services, mental health services, emergency services and women's and
children's services.
Patti earned a Master of Business Administration from Sage
Graduate School, a master's degree in Health Administration from
Russell Sage College and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Keuka
College in Keuka Park, NY.
Patti is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare
Executives (FACHE) and holds advanced nursing administration
certification with the American Nurses Association. Patti was
honored as one of the YWCA's 2010 Women of Achievement and is a past
recipient of the Quorum Health Resources, L.L.C. Executive of the
Year Award and the Opportunities for Otsego, Inc. Volunteer of the
Year Award.
