Vincent J. Zeccola, M.D.
Vincent
J. Zeccola, M.D. has been a member of the Ellis Hospital
Board of Trustees since 2004. Dr. Zeccola is Past
Chairman of the Ellis Hospital Medical Dental Executive
Committee and the former chairman of Ellis’ Emergency
Services.
Dr. Zeccola, who joined the Ellis medical staff in 1979,
provides leadership to various committees throughout the
hospital, including the Emergency Preparedness
Committee, the Infection Control Committee, the
Laboratory Quality Improvement Committee, the Pharmacy &
Therapeutic Committee and the Trauma Committee.
Dr. Zeccola received his medical degree from the
University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degree,
with honors, from Yale University. He completed his
internship and residency at Albany Medical Center
Hospital, Albany, NY. He is board certified in emergency
medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Zeccola holds
membership in numerous medical organizations, including
the Medical Society of the County of Schenectady, NY,
the Northeast Emergency Medical Associates, P.C., the
Schenectady County Committee on Health Care Issues, and
the Mohawk Valley Medical Associates.
Additionally, he serves as Medical Director for the
Rexford Fire Department, and holds an appointment at
Albany Medical College as a Clinical Associate Professor
of Medicine.
