Howard S. Foote, C.P.A.

Howard S. Foote, C.P.A. is a certified public accountant who joined the Ellis Medicine Board of Trustees in 2006. Mr. Foote is the managing director and chief financial officer of UHY Advisors NY, Inc. From initial public offerings to privately held community institutions, Mr. Foote's expertise spans the financial institutions sector. He is a co-leader of UHY Advisors national Financial Services practice and a member of the firms Management Committee. In addition to his extensive experience with managing complex, multi-faceted solutions for finance institutions, Mr. Foote has substantial experience in Security Exchange Commission reporting engagements, and in performing work for government agencies such as the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Mr. Foote currently serves as a member of the Siena College Board of Trustees and the Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce. He has also shared his skills and leadership with numerous community groups, including service as a past board member of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Albany League of Arts, Inc. and the Albany-Tula Alliance, Inc.

Mr. Foote earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Siena College. He has authored publications on technological and professional issues and also serves as a moderator and speaker for specialized seminars and trade gatherings. Mr. Foote is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Independent Bankers Association of New York State and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
