Comprehensive dental care
Every year, thousands of patients of all ages turn to Ellis Medicine’s Dental Health Center (DHC) for comprehensive dental care. The DHC offers a full range of dental services, including:
- General Dentistry
- Pediatric Dentistry
- Oral Surgery
Each patient is assigned a primary dental care provider who oversees his or her care. In addition to our dentists, dental hygienists are another integral part of our dental team. They provide preventive care and screenings to our patients.
Ellis’ Dental Health Center serves as the training facility for Ellis Medicine’s Dental Residency program. This program, established by the former St. Clare’s Hospital, has been successfully educating future generations of dentists since 1975. Many of our dental residents choose to practice locally after graduation.
Appointments
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and you can reach us by phone weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Twenty-four hours advance notice is requested to cancel an appointment. This allows another patient in need of care to be scheduled.

Pediatric Dental Care
Good Oral Health Starts Early
Making sure your child has good oral health at a young age is important to your child’s overall good health. The American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend scheduling your child’s first visit to a dentist by his/her first birthday.
Ellis Medicine’s dentists and dental hygienists will provide you with edu¬cation on tooth development, oral habits (such as sucking), oral care to prevent cavities and how your child’s diet can impact his/her oral health.
