Physician’s Order/Script
A physician's referral/order is required for all lab tesg. Please bring this with you.
Appointments
No appointment is necessary during regular outpatient hours with the exception of 3-hour glucose tolerance testing and semen analysis. To make an appointment, call 518.243.4055.
Insurance/Billing
Most major insurances are accepted. Please check with your insurance company to make sure your outpatient lab services are covered.
Fasting Instructions
Nothing by mouth after 8:00 p.m. the evening prior to your appointment except small amounts of water. Medications should be taken as instructed by your physician.
Test Results
Most general lab tests are run daily with results available to the ordering physician within 24 hours.
Homedraws
Both Ellis Hospital (Nott Street) and the Ellis Health Center offer homedraw services for their homebound patients. Call 518.43.1469 to schedule a homedraw through Ellis Hospital or call 518.243.5309 to schedule a homedraw through the Ellis Health Center.
